Demi Moore praises ex-husband Bruce Willis’ wife Emma as ‘absolutely inspiring’

Demi Moore is revealing her special relationship with ex-husband Bruce Willis’ wife Emma Heming Willis.

Moore shared an Instagram post Monday in honor of International Women’s Day to “celebrate the women who inspire” her for a social media campaign to create a “chain of inspiration.” Moore honored two women in her post: actress Soleil Moonfrye for her “courage” and Willis, 42, for being a “friend” and a “sister.”

“I #SeeHer as family who I am honored to call a friend. Our children are sisters and yet there is no name for what our family connection is to one another. We are mothers united, sisters bonded on this crazy adventure of life,” Moore wrote about their blended family.

“Emma is a beautiful mother dedicated to her family, an absolutely gorgeous woman,” she added. “Her drive, determination and passion is uplifting and the woman that she is absolutely inspiring.”

The model responded to Moore’s words saying, “Well if this didn’t touch my soul. Thank you Demi ♥️ I adore you too.” Rumer Willis, Moore’s eldest daughter with Bruce Willis, left a comment on the appreciation post: “This is so beautiful.”

The “G.I. Jane” actress and the “Die Hard” actor divorced almost 20 years ago and share three children together: Rumer, 32, Scout, 29, and Tallulah, 27. Bruce and Emma Willis also sharetwo children together: Mabel, 8, and Evelyn, 6. 

Scout Willis revealed on the “Dopey” podcast in April that the divorced couple spent time as roommates earlier in the pandemic. She said her father arrived to her mom’s home in Idaho to quarantine, though her stepmother’s arrival was delayed after a medical emergency. 

“(It) has been really cute,” she said in April. “They’re both such nerdy, adorable, 90s parents in a small town where they chose to have their kids and not be in LA. It’s been pretty cute.”

Sister Tallulah Willis shared a photo of the family’s quarantine fun on Instagram during their time on lockdown, showing the group together wearing matching striped pajamas.

“Chaotic neutral,” she captioned the photo, which shows her parents front and center standing arm-in-arm. Scout Willis, film director Dillon Buss (who is dating Tallulah) and a pajama-clad dog are also shown in the photo.
