Debi Mazar Reacts to Rumors That Kanye West's Girlfriend Julia Fox Will Play Her in Upcoming Madonna Biopic

Madonna has been best friends with Debi Mazar for decades. The actor recently opened up about rumors that Kanye West’s girlfriend, Julia Fox, might play her in an upcoming Madonna biopic. Here’s what Mazar said about her friendship with the pop culture icon and the Uncut Gems star.

Madonna recently met with Julia Fox to discuss a movie project, and they were joined by Kanye West, Floyd Mayweather, and Antonio Brown 

On Jan. 13, Madonna posted several pictures on Instagram revealing that she spent the evening with Kanye West, Julia Fox, Antonio Brown, and Floyd Mayweather.

The first photo shows Madonna and Fox and Madonna sprawled on a couch together. The following picture is of Madonna and West. In the third photo, they are joined by boxer Floyd Mayweather, and football player Antonio Brown appears in two of the other images. 

“Went to dinner with Julia to talk about my movie and some other folks showed up…………………😎🎥🎬,” the musician captioned the photos.

The Uncut Gems star responded to Madonna’s post with multiple heart eyes, red hearts, fire, rose, and lips emojis in the comments section.

Madonna’s best friend, Debi Mazar, recently addressed rumors that Julia Fox will play her in a movie about the iconic singer. She shared a series of photos of herself on Instagram, and she looks strikingly similar to Fox.

Mazar added a lengthy caption to the post. “My phone has literally blown up this past week, after it was announced that @juliafox took a meeting with @madonna for her film,” she started the caption. “The press is asking me to verify rumors, and paparazzi are literally DM-ing me, to ask to photograph me so they can submit comparisons of Julia and I🤣”

She added, “I find it all quite amusing, but what I find most interesting is that someone will be playing ME!🤣 It’s surreal!”

Debi Mazar opened up about her friendship with the pop queen and what she thinks of the ‘Uncut Gems’ star

Mazar revealed that she doesn’t know who Madonna will cast in the biopic. “I have NO idea how the script reads or who Madonna has in mind,” she wrote.

She went on to praise Madonna and talk about their long-lasting friendship. “Madonna has an epic story to tell (as do I..more on that down the road),” Mazar wrote. “Our friendship is most precious to me and Madonna is a great visionary. I can’t wait to see what she does!”

She added that she has never met Julia Fox in person, although she has spoken to the actor. “I’ve never met @juliafox in person. I interviewed her once.”

She had nothing but kind things to say about Fox. “I think she is gorgeous, smart and a very talented actress!”

She said that Fox actually reminds her more of Madonna than herself. “Funny enough, she reminds me more of Madonna when we were young, then of myself!” Mazar said she would “obviously be flattered” if Fox played her.

Mazar finished the caption by writing, “Ok.. Now I can avoid the press questions on this matter🤣💯💃🏻”
