Danny Miller’s Emmerdale pals Lucy Pargeter and Charley Webb party hard at wedding

Danny Miller was joined by a whole host of his former Emmerdale co-stars as he and his new wife Steph Jones said “I do” at the beautiful Nunsmere Hall Hotel in Cheshire in a “perfect” ceremony.

In attendance were many of the Dingle family, including his on-screen mum Lucy Pargeter, Charley Webb, Jeff Hordley, Zoë Henry and Emma Atkins.

And his former colleagues ensured they partied in style and rarely left the dancefloor as they toasted him and Steph finally becoming husband and wife.

Danny, who played Aaron Dingle in Emmerdale for 11 years until 2021, exclusively told OK! of sharing the day with his on-screen family: “It’s been almost a year since I left but I invited everyone I’m close to and all the Dingles, and then loads of people came in the evening. It was really nice to see them all there.”

Also sharing Danny and Steph’s special day were his former on-screen sister Isobel Steele, Isabel Hodgins, Eden Taylor-Draper and Bradley Johnson, while Waterloo Road and former Emmerdale actor Adam Thomas and his brother, former Coronation Street actor Ryan Thomas were ushers.

They were joined by Adam’s wife Caroline, Adam’s twin brother, former Love Island star Scott Thomas, and Ryan’s daughter Scarlett, 13, who he shares with his former Corrie co-star Tina O’Brien.

He told us: “I’ve known Adam and Ryan for ages as my dad Vince and their dad Dougie were very close when we were younger. It was important to have them both there. I’m particularly close with Adam because of working together and we even lived together at one point.”

And the evening saw even more of Danny’s co-stars joined the celebrations, with Charley’s husband Matthew Wolfenden, Chris Bisson and his wife Rowena Finn, Natalie J Robb, Lawrence Robb and Danny’s former on-screen husband Ryan Hawley, who played Robert Sugden, all in attendance.

The appearance of Ryan, who together with Danny Emmerdale fans branded “Robron”, left the actor, 31, feeling “emotional”.

“Ryan doesn’t really like events so it meant a lot that he came with his wife Daisy. I haven’t seen him for a couple of years so I felt quite emotional,” says Danny.

One person from Emmerdale would couldn’t be there was Danny’s friend Dominic Brunt, who plays Paddy Dingle in the ITV soap.

“There were a few people who couldn’t make it,” explains Danny.

“Dominic Brunt was on holiday so he couldn’t make it which was a shame as he’s like my Emmerdale dad, and David [Ginola] had to be in France so he couldn’t make it which was a real shame.

And Ryan’s fiancée Lucy [Mecklenburgh] ended up having to stay at home to look after their little ones.”

But Danny and Steph, who are parents to Albert, nine months, were surrounded by plenty of family and friends – including their adorable 12 nieces and nephews who acted as page boys and flower girls – as they became husband and wife 18 months after getting engaged in St Lucia.

As well as Adam and Ryan, Danny was joined supported by his other ushers, including his brother Paul, dad Vince, Steph’s dad Barry and friends Sean, Adam, Jake, Dean, Ash and Azz, while his closest friends Dan Jillings and Chris Gooch acted as best men.

Meanwhile, Steph’s best friend Lindsay acted as maid of honour and joined her bridesmaids, Danny’s sister Lucy, niece Kaitlin and her sisters Maria and Hazel to walk down the aisle.

And reflecting on her nuptials, midwife Steph told us the day couldn't have gone any better. "It was perfect. Apart from having Albert, it was the best day of our lives," she said.
