Danniella Westbrook scoffs bacon butty after Poundland shopping trip

Danniella Westbrook was spotted on a food break during a shopping trip to Poundland to scoff a bacon butty.

The ex-EastEnders star was clearly feeling peckish after picking up some essentials from the budget store, so stopped for the snack.

Keeping things casual in a baggy grey dress, the 45-year-old actress was seen dousing the bap in tomato ketchup before she gamely tucked in.

She later tweeted after a long day running errands that she had stopped off at her favourite dog-friendly pub with her bulldog Bobby to soak up the sun.

Danniella has been keeping busy since her successful stint in rehab, provided by Jeremy Kyle, and has been stocking up on necessities to give her house a makeover.

Earlier in the week she was seen at her local DIY superstore grabbing bags of soil, paint and looking at flooring for her home.

And it looks like Danniella is full support of a fan campaign to try and get her back on EastEnders.

She retweeted a post from one follower who had written alongside a group of images from her time on the soap: "I’m officially launching the campaign to get westbrookdanni back in EastEnders we need the Virgin Mary of walford back in our lives!"

The mum-of-one has recently been celebrating being drug-free following her three-month stint in rehab.

She was officially released at the end of April and has been feeling happy and positive as she starts her new life sober and healthy.

In a post on  Instagram  , she wrote: "I can honestly say I have the life I never thought myself worthy of.

"It's very early days, just three months give or take a few days but I know in my heart I am home.

"Being part of this fellowship [in rehab] and being show how to help myself and others is just a real gift.

"So thank you all who stood by me and loved me when I was too sick to do that for myself for years and to those of you who are new in my life.

"I wanted to share my my gratitude and say thank you for never giving up on me."
