His father is one of the most well-known action men in the world and has had an incredible career spanning four-and-a-half decades.

His dad has not only starred in one of the biggest action franchises of all-time but has also had his fair share of incredible dramatic performances even earning himself an Oscar nomination.

Meanwhile his mother was a very successful actress in her own right starring in several successful films throughout her over 20 year career.

She also happened to be the part of a British acting dynasty and the product of a showbiz power couple.

Now their son is following in their footsteps as a leading man in an upcoming drama. Can you guess who he is?

It’s Micheál Richardson!

The 27-year-old Irish actor stars in the upcoming film On Our Way which dropped a dramatic and dark trailer on Monday morning.

His father is Taken franchise star Liam Neeson.

His mother is the talented late actress Natasha Richardson who is acting royalty as the daughter of acting icon Vanessa Redgrave and Academy Award winning director Tony Richardson.

Natasha is also the granddaughter of English stage and film actor, director, manager and author Michael Redgrave and English actress Rachel Kempson.

Unfortunately Natasha died after sustaining  ahead injury while taking a ski lesson in Canada back in March 2009.

Liam and Natasha – who also have a 26-year-old son named Daniel together – married in 1994.

Micheál was christened Micheál Neeson but changed his surname in 2018 to honor his late mother with father Liam’s blessing.
