Shobna Gulati has described how tired and downtrodden she has been feeling since catching coronavirus back in March.

The 54 year old, who is known for portraying Sunita Alahan in the popular soap opera Coronation Street, appeared on Lorraine today, Tuesday 15 September, to detail the after-effects of the deadly bug.

Show host Lorraine, 60, jumped right in as she asked Shobna: "How are you? Because you had corona, did you not?"

Shobna replied: "Yeah. I'm doing a lot better. It's been a tough time. I got it in March and that's when I started piecing together the book as well."
