‘Cobra Kai’ Creators Tease Season 5, Have Plans For More Seasons!

The creators of Cobra Kai is teasing what’s to come in the upcoming fifth season of the hit series!

While the show was picked up early for just one more season, co-creators Jon Hurwitz , Josh Heald and Hayden Schlossberg teased this past weekend that they also already have plans for more seasons.

“Season 4 everyone knew that we were heading toward a tournament — Season 5, no one knows where we are headed,” Jon told Deadline. “We do, because we already made it… There’s a lot of insanity; if you’re a fan of the franchise, maybe some familiar faces show up, maybe not; there’s going to be a lot of karate.”

In season five, Josh teased that “there’s lot of people punching each other, kicking other, but the story is going to go in a new way that no one can possibly predict.”

Hayden added that they’ve already planned out multiple more seasons and have an end in mind, but the show could just go on until they get tired of making it.

“We have an end in mind,” he said. “How many seasons it takes to get there, we don’t know. We’re enjoying making it so much.”

“If it gets tiring to us, we’ll stop before that; we have a few more seasons already planned out,” Hayden added.

At the time of this post, Netflix has not ordered a sixth season, but at the rate the show has been going, it’s very likely it could get renewed before season five comes out.
