Chris Ramsey says first Strictly Come Dancing rehearsal left him a ‘sweaty mess’

Chris Ramsey looks set for one hell of a ride on Strictly Come Dancing after saying his first rehearsal left him a "sweaty mess".

The comedian shared a sweat-covered selfie after being put through his paces in the dance studio for the first time ever.

But the South Shields-born star says he's never had so much fun in his life.

Taking to Instagram , the funnyman said: "Sweaty mess. But this is the most fun I’ve ever had on the first day of anything! @bbcstrictly"

The 33-year-old looked slightly dishevelled and just as terrified as he posed up for a picture.

But his fans are dying to see him hit the dancefloor.

One said: "I never watch this but now I will"

Another commented: "Can’t wait to see who you’re partnered with!"

And one said: "No pressure but you gotta win this ok!"

Chris, who shares son Robin with wife Rosie, has been talking about signing up for the show on the married couple's podcast S*****d Married Annoyed.

In the latest episode, they chatted about the dreaded 'Strictly Curse' and Chris joked he wouldn't stand a chance with any of the show's female professional dancers even if he was single and looking, as they're all married to hunky male dancers, and that if anything, he'll probably end up fancying one of the blokes.

Chris, who released stand up special Approval Needed on Amazon Prime Video today, has a busy year ahead of him.
