It takes a lot of willpower to maintain Chris Hemsworth’s super fit physique, and it seems the actor has it in spades as he was spotted avoiding beer and pizza while on a luxury yacht in Ibiza.

The Australia actor and his wife Elsa Pataky were snapped enjoying yet another holiday with their best buds Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Barroso on Sunday.

The gang are together to celebrate Elsa’s 43rd birthday and what better place than her native country, Spain.

While the rest of their group were seen chowing down on pizza and swigging bottles of beer, Chris appeared to be fighting temptation and simply watched his pals munching away.

We all know the actor has to live a pretty healthy lifestyle to maintain his god-like bod, something which was confirmed by his food expert Sergio Perera.

Perera, who shares his advice on Hemsworth’s app Centr, told Men’s Health about the meal plan he compiled for Chris, and while it’s all formulated to keep the star lean, it sounds surprisingly tasty.

Every morning, the Avengers: Endgame star starts his day with a green ‘power shake’ which Perera explains is ‘made up of five to six different types of leafy greens and vegetables, low-glycemic fruits, nuts, seeds, fats and small amounts of sea salt to aid in electrolyte balance, nerve transmission and glucose metabolism’.

At 10am, Chris then has a healthy breakfast – whether that’s yoghurt and berries, three eggs on wholegrain toast with Vegemite (well, he is an Aussie) or a savoury porridge with poached eggs.

Then comes Hemsworth’s workout and post-workout shake, before a delicious lunch of sesame chicken salad and rice, a ribeye steak or grilled chicken.


To keep all that muscle in tact, Chris has to keep snacking before dinner – sadly, not on crisps, but with crackers and beef jerky.

For dinner, the dad-of-two is treated to white fish or grilled lamb chops before taking some BCAAs (branched-chain amino acids) with a magnesium or zinc supplement before bed.

Considering how amazing his wife Elsa looks as she prepares to celebrate her birthday on July 18, we have a feeling she follows a similar plan too.
