Brits 2020: Billie Eilish, Lizzo and Lewis Capaldi lead the red carpet arrivals02/18/2020
The Brit Awards is one of the biggest nights in the music calendar, and every year the stars come out in force in their finery to celebrate with the nominees and performers.
This year was no exception, with the great and good in music descending upon London’s O2 Arena ahead of a night of celebrations.
Hosted by Jack Whitehall for the third year running, the Brits is one of the most prestigious awards an artist can win, and Jack was excited to take the stage once more.
He said he was ‘delighted to be back hosting for a third time and excited for another night of trying not to put my foot in it in front of the biggest names in the music industry.’
Lewis Capaldi, who was one of the first to arrive on the carpet, said he was feeling ‘negative’ ahead of the night.
He told reporters on the red carpet: ‘I’m feeling negative because that just my default setting. If you feel negative all the time nothing bad can ever happen.’
When asked how he felt about being up for four nominations on the night, he said: ;Very good because the more you are nominated the more chances you have of winning one and if you win one I’m quite sure your record sales go up!’
