Britney Spears is “starving” for attention!

Just one day after the troubled singer posted yet another bizarre video on Instagram causing concerned fans to freak out, a source revealed exclusively to RadarOnline.com that there’s nothing to worry about because she “lives for fame!”

“She is well aware of the fact that she is getting so much attention right now and she also knows that her crazy videos get people to follow her,” the insider said.

Spears, 37, has been “craving this much attention,” according to the snitch, and she’s “loving the drama because it feeds her own insecurities.”

“She will always strive to be the cover girl.”

On May 28, Spears — who is currently pleading with the courts to extend her restraining order against former manager Sam Lutfi — posted a telling video on Instagram.

In the first part of her post, Spears said, “For those of you who don’t think I post my own videos, I did this video yesterday. So, you’re wrong. But I hope you like it.”

On the second part of her post, Spears records herself strutting her stuff while wearing a skin-tight dresses.

The song, however, was alarming to her followers, as it’s “Man Down” by Rihanna — with lyrics that say, “I didn’t mean to end his life. I know it wasn’t right. I can’t even sleep at night, can’t get it off my mind.”

According to a friend, “Britney is trapped in her castle and has way too much time on her hands. Obviously, she is unwell.”

“She is not thinking with a clear and sound mine.” revealed the worried pal. “Given the fact that the past couple months of her life have been so hectic, it’s understandable”

As fans know, Spears has been engaged in a court battle with her ailing father, Jamie Spears, 66. Ultimately, Spears and her mother Lynne are aiming to end the conservatorship that Britney was placed under after her infamous mental meltdown a decade ago.
