Beyoncé and Jay-Z‘s 8-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter has won her first NAACP Image Award for “Brown Skin Girl.”

The song, a collaboration with Beyoncé, SAINt JHN and WizKiD from The Lion King: The Gift, earned her the award in the Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration category.

The Lion King: The Gift debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, and “Brown Skin Girl” debuted at No. 76 on the Billboard 100 list, giving Blue Ivy her first song on the list last July.

“Congratulations BLUE IVY on your NAACP award last night for [singing] and writing on ‘Brown Skin Girl’ from the Album The Gift,” Blue Ivy’s grandmother, Tina Knowles Lawson, wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of Blue Ivy on Saturday. “Grandma is soo proud of you. You are giving all the beautiful little brown girls a voice.”

Blue Ivy previously won the Ashford & Simpson Songwriters Award at the 2019 BET Soul Train Awards for the same song.

Beyoncé received several honors, including outstanding female artist, outstanding album for Homecoming: The Live Album and Outstanding Soundtrack/Compilation Album for The Lion King: The Gift.
