Bianca Gascoigne close to tears as she returns to hospital with newborn baby

Bianca Gascoigne has been left close to tears after revealing she had to take her newborn daughter back to hospital.

The 36 year old Celebrity Big Brother star, who welcomed her little one into the world with boyfriend Arron Wright earlier this week, told fans that her little girl underwent a blood spot screening.

Taking to Instagram Stories, Bianca shared a video of them in the car as they made their way home from the hospital.

"Took the little lady to hospital to have her blood spot checks today," she wrote alongside. "I wanted to cry when they did it."

Newborn blood spot screening involves taking a blood sample to find out if your baby has 1 of 9 rare but serious health conditions.

Bianca and Arron became parents on February 20 and announced the news by sharing a glimpse of their newborn's hospital tag, the new mum's hospital bed and a series of clips of Arron cuddling the little girl.

"20/02/23. You are perfect Baby B," Bianca captioned her post on Instagram. They are yet to share the name for their first child.

The video also showed a clip of the parents taking their daughter home from the Portland Hospital in London, and a series of sweet looks at their bundle of joy.

In one, the baby was wrapped up in a pink fluffy teddy bear onesie.

While in another, she was posed in a gorgeous pink beanie hat as she lay under a fluffy blanket in her hospital bed.

The couple announced they were expecting a baby in August last year.

They shared the news in a brilliant Instagram snap. In the picture, Bianca and Arron can be seen surrounded by baby clothes and products, in a recreation of the Knocked Up movie poster.

In the caption, she simply wrote: "We’re having a baby," and added a milk bottle emoji.

Bianca and Arron began dating in 2021 and confirmed their romance in December of that year with a series of loved-up snaps. They first met over 14 years ago at the Dubai races

In May this year, Bianca shared her excitement at the prospect of getting hitched to Arron, telling Closer magazine: "We'll get married. He's husband material, and I can see us getting engaged soon.

"Arron is quite traditional and has a large family, so it will probably take place here in the UK, or we'll have two ceremonies.

"Maybe an intimate one abroad and a big ceremony in England so everyone can come. I need a ring first though!"
