But outside of the DC Universe, Arleen had a hugely successful career as an actor in the hit soap Days of Our Lives.

She first appeared in the show back in 1984 and was an on and off star right up until 2010 and in this time receives a host of accolades for her performance as she was given four Soap Opera Digest Awards and received two Daytime Emmy Award nominations.

Arleen started her acting journey back in the 1970s when she was in the comedic group called The High-Heeled Women. But she also liked the work off camera as well as she co-wrote the 1997 film Picture Perfect which starred Jennifer Aniston and Kevin Bacon.

The actor is survived by her husband Christopher Lloyd, who she married in 1995, and their two sons Eli and Owen.
