Babatunde Aleshe has landed in Australia ahead of this year's I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, becoming the seventh participant to arrive.

He arrived hours after Loose Women's Charlene White and footballer Jill Scott, who both touched down earlier today.

The 36 year old comedian and Celebrity Gogglebox star beamed as he touched down at Brisbane airport.

He told The Mirror: "I am here to have a good time you know what I mean.

"I am not a camper, I am not going to lie, not at all.

"Where I am staying I am alright for spiders and snakes, well I should be OK, I hope so!"

Earlier in the day Charlene, who is also hoping to be crowned Queen of the Jungle, said: "I don't really like creepy crawlies so I don't imagine it was a show I would ever do to be honest. And I am not particularly outdoorsy so I don't know how that would work.

"I don't camp, I stopped going to Girl Guides because they kept making me camp so I definitely don't camp."

On her arrival, England Lioness Jill Scott was questioned as to which would be more nerve-wracking, the Euros final or the jungle, to which she replied: "That is a very good question but I don't think anything will test my nerves as much as that final.

"I have never really been confronted by snakes and spiders in England so I don't know how I will react to them, apart from a spider in the bath every now and then."

Other Jungle campmates who have already landed include Love Island's Olivia Attwood, Coronation Street's Sue Cleaver, Hollyoaks' Owen Warner and radio DJ Chris Moyles.

This series marks ITV flagship show's return to Australia, after being held in Wales for the last couple of years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

And as the show makes it return to the iconic jungle set, new photos show that there have been some new additions to the camp.

Aerial photos from above show the set, which is currently close to completion, reveal a first look inside the camp and a large Wild West-style area for potential challenges.

Other new additions include a strange merry-go-round contraption and a large, somewhat terrifying pool.

And as usual, the separate areas of the camp are connected by the show's infamous sky-high walkways, which the celebrities must brace as they take part in the show's challenges and trials.

The show's Australian return hasn't come without problems though, with the set being forced to close for 24 hours due to adverse weather conditions.

A spokeswoman for ITV told the PA news agency: "We closed site for 24 hours as a precautionary measure due to the inclement weather."
