Amy Roloff: I’m Purging My Past from My Life!

On Wednesday, the future of Little People, Big World was made clear:

This beloved TLC series will return with new episodes on March 31 at 9/8c.

Also on Wednesday, meanwhile, Amy Roloff also made it clear that she’s finally prepared to truly look ahead, sharing a heartfelt Instagram message with her adoring fans.

The caption (to the photo below) started simply enough, and even read at first like an advertisement.

“This car of mine #fordescape I love and has been great, and still is, in helping me move and so much more! I’m a @ford girl true and true,” wrote the mother of four.

From there, however, Amy delved into her move off the farm and into a brand new home, about 15 minutes away.

The veteran reality star hasn’t been shy in the past about admitting such a move hasn’t been easy for her to make.

Continued Roloff in her caption:

Its so doing its job hauling all the things I’m taking from the farm house to my new house.

And it’s back and forth and back and forth.

And yes, I’m doing most of it myself – after 30 years – I’m going through everything and oh what memories come flooding my mind of a lot of things that went on in this house raising four kids.

Several months ago, Amy sold a majority of her property on the family farm to ex-husband Matt.

The former spouses no longer live just a couple hundred yards away from each other, which is probably for the best on a personal level.

In a preview for the new season of Little People, Big World, Amy says that she and Matt have always done the best they can to remain cordial… but it;s been a challenge.

“Right now, Matt and I are doing the best we can when it comes to family things,” she says, adding:

“It’s not easy, but I know both Matt and I are determined to make it work well post-divorce because this is family.”

“I’m thankful I got to do it though it’s been hard and tough purging,” continued Amy in her caption. “Oh I’m sure I’ll be doing more once I get ‘stuff’ to my new house thinking ‘why did I pack this.'”

Sure, we’ve all been there, haven’t we?

Amy went on to give thanks to her dog, Felix, and, of course, to her fiance, Chris Marek.

‘I’m thrilled to see some light at the end of this long journey of moving, purging, packing and moving into my new house. Woohoo!” she wrote, concluding as follows:

Sometimes I don’t know whether to jump up and yell ‘Hooray’ or cry. I do know I feel relieved. More adventures to explore, plan for all the while being grateful Chris is by my side rooting for me and helping so much.

He has been tremendous.

As for when she’ll be all moved in to her new digs?

“So I see the light at the end of this tunnel and I think I’ll make my end date- end of February.”
