Alison Hammond has become a household name thanks to her larger than life personality.

The ITV presenter often steals the show from co-hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby and leaves audiences in fits of laughter when interviewing celebrities.

However, off-screen the 44 year old is trying to change her life and has been embarking on an incredible fitness journey.

Alison, who recently was announced as an ambassador for Weight Watchers, has been eating healthier and doing more exercise.

She took the time to thank her personal trainer and posted a gushing message to him on Instagram.

Alison wrote: “Sometimes someone will come into your life and change it forever.

“Thanks for being a great friend @ellisgatfield . You have introduced another world to me where exercise truly has become fun.

“Thank you hope and pray you inspire many more through your beautiful soul and energy.”

So far the mother-of-one’s journey has been going extremely well, with fans even confusing her with Beyonce.

After spending a few weeks on her weight loss journey, the This Morning favourite took to Twitter to give fans a sneak peek at her results.

The hilarious host posted a selfie to her 269,000 followers on the social media site.

Displaying a gorgeous full face of make-up, with her newly-dyed curly tresses thrown back, Alison’s weight loss is clearly visible. Fans were quick to flood the star with compliments on the photo — with it racking up almost 10,000 likes.

One wrote: “Absolutely beautiful but you are inside and out, what a star you are have us all in tears with laughter good luck on your journey [sic].”

A second added: “You looks amazing. You are literally one of my favourite people because your so funny and down to earth but you are also a stunning woman [sic].”
