This £14 brow product will change your life

Do you want to change your life?

Are you ready to commit to what needs to be done to be the best version of you?

Are you willing to pay £14?

It might sound foolish, but good brows can transform your existence. When they are in good nick, so is life, and so are you.

Over the years, eyebrow trends have moved with the times. First, the nineties’ thin brow trend, where, unfortunately, most of us looked like over plucked chickens. Then HD brows, which were thick and intense. And nowadays, it’s fluffy and healthy-looking cousins (not sisters) sitting on the face with thanks to soap brows.

However, soap brows only work on naturally full brows. If yours are light in colour, short on the shape, and sparse in-depth, then any attempt at soap brows will look like you rubbed a glue stick all over your forehead.

This is where the £14 brow saviour comes into save the day.

Glossier is a brand synonymous with its push for natural beauty, using products to enhance features and not cover them. Uber-popular with millennials, its pink packaging has become an Instagram favourite.

However, the brand hasn’t been free from criticism. Many have voiced the opinion that Glossier products only work on those with already perfect skin. They feel products such as the brand’s ‘skin tint’ do nothing to aid those with acne, scarring, or other skin conditions.

While it may be true that the brand is marketing itself to a specific type of person, its Boy Brow grooming pomade is the best on the market.

Take it from countless other makeup users and me when we say this product is ‘it.’

The Boy Brow is a brush-on creamy wax that visibly thickens, shapes, and grooms brows into place, leaving them fluffy and natural-looking. Although made like a traditional pomade, it contains oleic acid, lecithin, and soluble collagen to condition and moisturize brows. Meaning unlike pomades of the past, it won’t stiffen. So when you touch your brows halfway through the day, they feel normal and not like dried leaves.

What makes the Boy Brow even better is the colour pay-off. It’s like getting your eyebrows dyed without the chemicals. Just a few brush strokes create a beautifully full brow. The product is buildable and flexible enough to experiment with until you get the desired shape and consistency.

Boy Brow comes in five shades, including black, brown, auburn, blond and clear. But like all good things, there is a negative.

Although it retails for only £14, the tube is tiny. Measuring 0.11 oz (approx. 3.25ml) in product, the Boy Brow does not last long, especially if you are sprucing your brows every day.

Nevertheless, it’s still a five-star rated product in our eyes. There is no doubt that we will continue purchasing until Glossier produces a bigger and better size.

And you should too, because trust us, it really is a transformative makeup product.

So go on, try it, and change your life.
