The 10 Most Expensive Vodkas, Ranked

06/15/2019

Having a drink or two with some friends can be one of the best and most enjoyable ways to spend your Friday night or a day off of work. The layperson will often have a beer or cocktail, usually costing around 8 to 18 dollars, give or take. However, when rich people have lots of money to burn, they drink the good stuff. There are many brands of alcohol that claim to be “premium”, but unless the bottle is encrusted in diamonds, or at the very least crystals, it’s not good enough. Stick around for our list of the most expensive vodkas in the world.

10 Swarovski-Studded Alize, Limited Edition – $2,000

At the beginning of our list, we have the French vodka that is usually worth much less than the $2,000 that many paid for this bottle. Usually, the brand will sell vodka for an average of 30 to 50 dollars. What makes this bottle special in particular is the limited amount made as well as the coating of Swarovski crystal, studded all around the entire bottle. The brand came up with this idea as a Valentine’s Day promotion; that’s a pretty hefty price to pay for a Valentine’s Day gift!

9 Iordanov Vodka – $4,353

Made in Germany by one of the oldest and most recognized German vodka brands, this product is made from 100% fine wheat grains as well as the crystal waters of the Vogelsberg Highlands in Northern Germany. Just like many of the vodkas you’ll see on this list, the price is largely due to the number of gems that are encrusted into the front of the bottle. The face of the vessel is a beautiful, sparkly skull made entirely from hundreds of shining gems, making this vodka maybe a little more than it’s worth.

8 Stolichnaya Elit Himalaya Limited Edition – $5,366

Once sold for $3,000 a bottle, this now discontinued Stoli vodka is worth over $5,000. Since vodka is about 60% water, this brand is especially known for using high-quality water in its products, which does contribute to the price. With a slight hint of lemon, the flavor of this vodka is supposed to be subtle. Of course, just like a lot of the drinks on this list, the price definitely contributes to the luxury of the bottle. This vodka is packaged in a crystal bottle in a black cherrywood case that is lined in leather.

7 Limited Edition OVAL Swarovski Crystal Vodka – $6,922

Some vodkas are sold worldwide and are available to anyone who is willing to lay down the dollar. This limited edition, over the top drink worth almost $7,000 is not one of those vodkas. The bottle is encrusted with over 7000 little Swarovski crystals, which make up most of the hefty price. You can see this stunning bottle only in exclusive night clubs in London. These clubs include only Embassy, Maya, Tramp, and more. Unless you live in London with your name on the list, this vodka is a little more difficult to get.

6 Absolut Crystal Pinstripe Black – $10,000

Absolut is known for their vodka and spirits, but this is probably the most expensive vodka they have available. In 2011, the owners of the Swedish company admitted that they were inspired by the design of a suit by a men’s tailoring company called Savile Row. There are two different versions of the bottle: black, as well as the original. The only difference between the two is the color of the bottle. However, there were only ten Black Pinstripes made; they are all numbered and signed by the designers.

5 Kors Vodka Gold Edition – $16,500

Priced at 16 and a half thousand dollars, this one-liter bottle of vodka is very limited. There were 750 of these premium bottles ever made; it’s safe to say that they won’t be running out before you have a chance to buy one. The container is handmade from crystal and has “real gold details”, according to the official website. It is shipped to you in a walnut box that has gold details and is lined on the inside with velvet and silk. It’s even claimed that the vodka contains a secret ingredient.

4 Diva Premium Vodka – $1 million

This million-dollar vodka is refined three times, rather than the usual up to seven times for cheaper vodkas. It is filtered through birch charcoal, which is what gives the drink its distinct, smooth flavor. Each bottle contains a “wand of crystals” that goes through the middle of the bottle and are different colors depending on the flavor, of which they have four: Raspberry Flirtini, Long Kiss, Lemon Drop, and Platinum Passion. The crystals are usually used as a sparkly garnish to enforce the luxury that is Diva Premium Vodka.

3 Russo-Baltique Vodka – $1.3 million

If you’ve ever watched the Netflix drama House of Cards, then you may have seen this incredibly costly bottle of alcohol. Featured in the show, Russo-Baltique Vodka is some of the smoothest, finest vodka in the world and is encased in a 13-pound vessel made from a combination of pure gold and pure silver. If that wasn’t enough, the cap is encrusted with diamonds. In early 2018, there was a bottle of this particular vodka stolen from a bar in Denmark; the masked man who walked into that bar made over a million dollars in about 5 minutes.

2 Billionaire Vodka – $3.7 million

Billionaire Vodka is “the most expensive vodka in the world”, as the website states. The brand prides itself on being the most expensive and elite brand of vodka. It is claimed that the vodka is filtered three times, once through “sand made from crushed diamonds”. You can pay for the bottle via PayPal, surprisingly enough, and it is delivered to you by “Billionaire Aviation”, “Billionaire Yachting”, and/or “Billionaire Car” anywhere in the world. On top of all of this, the bottle is diamond encrusted and it delivered to you in a platinum-rhodium case.

1 Royal Dragon: The Eye of the Dragon – $5.5 million

This is actually the most expensive vodka in the world. Despite it being the most luxury and costly, though, you do not get the incredible service that one would with the above Billionaire Vodka. Royal Dragon’s most premium vodka is bottled in a 2 kilogram, 8-carat gold bottle, accented with a giant and rare yellow diamond, which, on its own, is worth $4.6 million. If that wasn’t enough, the bottle is also encrusted with 15,000 little diamonds. No wonder this drink is worth five and half million dollars!
