Summer Fridays Summer Skin Nourishing Body Lotion

Ever since we’ve been spending the majority of our time at home, I’ve deepened my love for skin care, and also developed a consistent body care routine. In doing so, I’ve found that, unsurprisingly, I have real preferences when it comes to my lotion. It can’t be so thick that I can’t put on clothes after, and it can’t be so thin that my skin still feels dry. Plus, I am fanatical about smell. It cannot be overly fragranced, and it has to smell good. The new Summer Fridays Summer Skin Nourishing Body Lotion ($26) checks off all my boxes, and I’m kind of obsessed with it.

I’m a big fan of most of the Summer Fridays products, but this body lotion is one of my favorites. The pretty packaging is something I love and have come to expect from the brand, but we have to talk about the smell. It’s the perfect light coconut vanilla scent that makes me feel like I’m on vacation, even though I’ve been in my house for the last year. It’s fragrant without being overpowering, and I actually look forward to applying it post-shower. I will often use a beauty product in spite of it’s scent, but rarely because of it, so this is an accomplishment in and of itself, but the texture is amazing too. It’s sort of whipped and light, but still nourishing on the skin, and not at all sticky. I’ve used it every single day since I got it, and am already ordering a backup, so you know the love is real.
